It always requires a permit for fishing in freshwater reservoirs in the UK. There are swans and ducks along with fishes in the small pond of the park of Saint George in Bristol. If you have permit, you can fishing here on the basis of the return of the fish into the lake back.

City Council set up the timetable and fishing conditions in this lake. The cost of one day permit in the park was about 3 GBP in 2014.

It requires a passport, proof of address in UK and Environment Fishing Rod Licence to obtain fishing permit in the park.

 

The annual Rod licence in 2014 was 27 pounds for freshwater fish, and 76 pounds to catch any fish, including sea. Purchase a license for fishing (Rod licence) possible in any Post office or Environment Agency.

Fishing permit is valid in two parks - St George and the nearby Eastville Park.
