Ford Consul Capri Coupe is sometimes referred to as the Ford 109E. Car was designed by Ford of Britain and issued in 1961-1964 years. The Capri Project was code named The Sunbird and inherits design elements from the Ford Thunderbird and the Ford Galaxie Sunliner.
The Sunbird was really expensive car having some features from Ford Classic De-Luxe such as cigar lighter, four headlights, variable speed wipers, front disc brakes, dimming dashboard lights. May be it was a reason of such short life of manufacturing this model.
Pictured Ford Consul Capri Coupe 1962 has original 1.5 Litre OHV Straight 4 engine propelling it along which runs on Petrol. Exterior and interior didn't suffer from any changes and its owners tried to keep its authentic looks.
