Steam Railway is the longest narrow gauge railway opened in 1874 and runs through the Isle of Man countryside between Douglas and the South part of island.
Ancient original carriages travel to Port Erin passing the Castletown, where famous Castle Rushen locates.
Steam Railway is open from March till November. A return journey from Douglas to Port Erin costs ?11.60 for adults and ?5.80 for children. Castletown locates in the middle of this trip. Tickets could be purchase at Sea terminal, Tourist Welcome Center or Douglas Railway Station.
