Many tourists who hase ever been in Madriid would be surprised of presence river in Spain Capital. Manzanares River crosses the city. You can get to the river by going down to Segovia street, located on the left of Royal Palace. Amazing alley with park lies along the river quay.

If you wish to see non touristy Madrid just walk down a little farthe Royal Palace.
