Trail to the Karakolskie lake

Karakolskie lakes are situated at an altitude of 2000 meters in sub-alpine part of the mountain range Iolgo. There is no road to this lakes. All the way from the village to Elekmonar Karakol lakes is about 30 kilometers. Most of the path runs along the river Elekmonar, which can only be overcome by the GAZ-66 and similar auto with very high traffic. The last 8 kilometers are on a mountain trail and overcome them by foot or on horseback.
